How we use your details
Last updated 22 October 2026
This notice covers the codecuck.com website. The site is run by [LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
If you request an estimate, we collect your email address and, if you give it, the name of your GitHub organisation. That's all this site asks for.
The site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Why we use it
To reply to your request and, if you want to go ahead, to send you a private link to check your codebase. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us for an estimate. We don't sell your details or use them for anything else.
Where it's kept, and for how long
Requests are stored with Cloudflare, which may process them outside the UK under its standard data protection terms. Requests that don't lead anywhere are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Your code
If you later connect a codebase, how we handle it is set out in the agreement you sign with us, not on this page.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your details, or ask us to correct or delete them, by emailing hello@codecuck.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
